Whereas Chelsea faced a first defeat in this league. Aston Villa defeated Chelsea by 2-0 showing that in this league the team on the bottom of the league are also growing stronger to be a strong competitor in winning the title.

In the last game between Chelsea and Liverpool ended in a draw, which made them to share a point each. In that game Liverpool was in the verge of winning the game. Both the teams have played three games and have won two of the games they played. With this result they are on the table with seven points each.

In other game Blackburn hold Arsenal on a draw (1-1) and shared a point. Thanks to the goal by Lehmann on the 70th minute which destroyed the Arsenal's hope of earning three points.

ManU What Happened?

With Ronaldo and Rooney gone, its like ManU has lost its backbone. The game played with Rooney and Roanldo in the team differs a lot then the game played without them. When I watched the first league game of ManU, I had thought that ManU will surely win the league title in a row. Their game was just superb. And Ronaldo and Rooney, they are just amazing. I am not saying that other players of ManU are not talented or best. But they seem to play well when Rooney and Ronaldo are on the team and are lagging when they are not. ManU has lost a game and has earned just two points in three games and slowly its becoming difficult for it to keep the challenge. If it started repeating the same mistakes it has done in the previous three games then its future is at stake.

ManU Defeated

Manchester City defeated the defending champion Manchester United giving them a good slap in their journey to defend the league title. Manchester City sidelined ManU with 1-0. With three games played Manchester City has won all its three games and earned nine points while ManU has drawn two of its games and lost one and has earned only two points and are lagging far behind its rival teams Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal.

Tottenham defeated Derby by 4-0 recording their first win in three matches. Earlier they have lost both their games. In Tottenham's win Steed Malbranque scored twice while Jermaine Jenas and Darren Bent scored a goal each. In the first half Tottenham was in lead with three goals within thirteen minutes, after that there was no goals scored. Both the team tried to score the goal but they failed. In the second half Bent scored a goal and made the score 4-0. With this win Tottenham has regained its confidence to compete in the league and make its place in the top of the premiereleague table.

Manchester United Again Failed

Manchester United again field to record a win and settled down in a draw (1-1) against Portsmouth. Whereas its competitor Chelsea and Liverpool has managed to win their games and secure 3 points each. They have played two games and had won both the games while ManU has drawn both the games it played and has earned just two points. If this sort of things continued for some more games than ManU is sure to loose its League title this year. In its game against Portsmouth Christiano Ronaldo got a red card and was sent off the field. And he will misses the next match. After being transferred from Real Madrid to Los Angeles Galaxy, Beckham was not being able to score a goal for his club LA Galaxy. He was remaining most of the out of the field due to the injury.
